"One Hundred Avocets Descending".
At my Rockingham exhibition in January this little painting was bought by Judy. Judy had an unforgettable experience one morning of avocets that flew over her as she swam. A flock passed about 5 metres above her in the water. Being the only person on the beach she couldn't believe it and became emotional, it was so dramatic. Judy calls herself "a bit of an amateur birdwatcher".
I'm very happy the painting has winged its way into her heart
