Reminiscing

 "Starlight on Water"
I wrote an allegorical story to accompany this painting when the ancient underground Yarragadee Aquifer was threatened to be redirected to the city to solve their ailing water shortage.  My friends devoted years to successfully oppose this proposal.
Again our life-giving Yarragadee is  threatened because unconventional gas exploration (related to fracking) has been recently given the go-ahead.
Oh, I'd like to create a world where the environment doesn't need protecting!
And yes, there is a story related to our Aboriginal culture why it is called "Starlight on Water".
Can you tell I'm reminiscing?
